Steel Industry Training - Course Dates Announced
The Materials Processing Institute has recently announced the dates for its next two Steel Industry Training Courses.
Continuous Casting Course
The Continuous Casting Course provides a comprehensive understanding of slab, bloom and billet casting and includes both practical and theoretical aspects of the continuous casting operation. Practical based activities make up a large part of this course including a 'live' cast demonstration.
The Continuous Casting Course takes place from 19th to 22nd March.
Steelmaking & Casting Course
The Steelmaking & Casting Course focusses on primary steelmaking, secondary steelmaking and continuous casting and is structured to provide an understanding of the fundamental science of these processes.
The Steelmaking & Casting Course takes place from 11th to 15th June.
Both courses are extremely popular and are regularly oversubscribed, so early booking is recommended.
